Head Coach Glenn Moore

On the win:

"It was a great win. I feel like we had a great opportunity in the fourth to blow the game open; but, we made a couple of base-running errors and it took our chances away. I thought we did a great job to come back fighting after they tied us to get the win."

On Ashley Monceaux's leadoff homerun:

"We put her at leadoff for that reason. I think that hit really got our juices flowing. Getting a lead early in a big game like tonight is really important and Ashley got the job done early for us."

Courtney Oberg, Catcher

On her game winning hit in the Bottom of the 6th:

"We talk all the time about getting hits with runners in scoring position and I did not do that earlier in the game. I knew that with Tiffany (Wesley) on third, all I had to do was put the ball in the outfield and her speed would do the rest."

 On the Sellout Crowd:

"It was amazing. It is so awesome to get this win in front of our family, friends and fans. It just makes playing the game we love so much better. I cannot wait to have this same sort of crowd here on Saturday."

On the 5-2 victory over Texas:

"We had so much to fight for and now we are only one win away from taking the Big 12 title. Texas is such a huge rival and we knew they would come in here and fight to take our dream away. We have fought all year long and I could not be prouder."
