The No. 7 Baylor Lady Bears (3-1 overall) return to Getterman Stadium on Tuesday after a one day hiatus as they take on Prairie View A&M (2-7 overall) in a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. Baylor is coming off a 3-1 showing at the Getterman Classic over the weekend that included a pair of wins over Syracuse and a victory over Centenary.
The Lady Bears, who are batting .333 as a team, are led at the plate by senior first baseman Jordan Daniels, who is hitting .643 with two doubles, three home runs and seven RBI. In the circle, junior Jenny Isham has been stellar as the transfer from McLennan is 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in 10 innings of work.
As a team, Baylor is a perfect 16-for-16 on the base paths, with sophomore Kirsten Shortridge leading the way with six stolen bases and sophomore Nicole Wesley swiping five.
Prairie View A&M enters the twinbill with a 2-7 record overall and is being outscored by its opponents 96-38. The Panthers are hitting .230 as a team, while the pitching staff carries a 9.51 ERA.
