April 11, 2014
WACO, Texas - Tonight's Big 12 marquee matchup originally scheduled for a Fox Sports Southwest Plus broadcast has been changed to Fox College Sports network. The game set for a 6:30 p.m. start Friday night features No. 12 Baylor (29-7, 3-1) and No. 13 Oklahoma (30-8, 7-0) in the first of a three-game Big 12 series.
The second game of the series Saturday will be on ESPN's headline network with a 4 p.m. first pitch with Pam Ward calling the play-by-play and Michele Smith on color. Baylor will honor senior lefthander Whitney Canion prior to Saturday's game for her 100th career victory achieved March 1. Canion was just the seventh player in Big 12 history to accomplish the feat, and she carries 108 career victories into the series with OU.
In addition, Sunday's television broadcast has minor changes as well. The game, set for Noon, will be on Fox Sports Southwest Plus for cable viewers in all of Texas and Louisiana and on the main feed in Oklahoma. The game will also be available on FCS.
Sunday's game will be available on Dish Network on SD channel 445 and HD channel 9515. DirecTV has chosen not to carry this game sighting their capacity constraint.
