The Longhorns have wrapped up at least a share of the Big 12 Conference title after a sweep at Iowa State. Winner's of eight of their last nine, Texas leads the conference with a .322 average and 78 home runs. The Longhorns are led by Nadia Taylor's .401 average, while seven players have at least eight home runs. In the circle, Blaire Luna is 27-6 and sixth in the country with 342 strikeouts in 205.2 innings.
Texas defeated Baylor 8-0 in five innings in the last matchup in Austin on April 14. The Lady Bears won the last game in Waco, 3-2 on a walk off hit by Megan Turk in the bottom of the seventh.
Heading in to the last three games, Baylor sits at No. 61 in the NCAA RPI rankings, while its next two opponents , Texas (No. 8) and Houston (No. 51) are ranked ahead of them.

After going 11 games between home runs (March 28-April 18) the Lady Bears have blasted six home runs in the last five games, with round trippers in all of them.
Baylor ranks seventh in the country with 113 bases this season, and also fifth second in the country with a 2.35 stolen bases per game average.
