And It Goes On And On And On And On...
Baylor's doubleheader with No. 7 Oklahoma on April 30 turned out to be a marathon. From first pitch of game one to the final out of game two, 5 hours and 50 minutes had passed, helped by the 12 inning, 3 hour and 28 minute second game. Neither team was able to score in extra innings until the Sooners poured on five runs in the 12th to take the win.
Freshman Shaina Brock pitched valiantly, throwing 184 pitches over 11 innings of work.
The game was the longest for Baylor since a 1-0 win over North Carolina in 16 innings on May 20, 2004.

Round Trippers Rare
Baylor has just 17 home runs on the year, the second lowest in the Big 12. The Lady Bears have hit three home runs in their last nine games, all off the bat of Brette Reagan.

Wesley White Hot
Sophomore Nicole Wesley has been white hot in conference play, compiling a .419 average to lead a Baylor squad that is hitting just .246 in Big 12 play.

Reagan Climbs Home Run Ladder
Junior Brette Reagan's home run against Oklahoma on April 30 gave her 30 in her career. She needs eight more to reach Kelly Osburn in second with 38 and 14 more to tie Chelsi Lake's mark of 44.

Walk It Out
Reagan became Baylor's all-time leader in walks on April 29 and now has 109 for her career.

Too Many Two Out Runs
Baylor's pitching staff has given up 168 runs heading into these last three games, but 67 of them (40 percent) have come with two outs. That averages to 1.52 extra runs a game coming with two outs on the board.

Lady Bears Lead Big 12 Offense
Baylor's .307 overall team batting average ties for the league lead with Texas A&M. The Lady Bears have four of the top 20 individual batting averages in the Big 12. Nicole Wesley (.383) is third, Brette Reagan (.381) is fourth, Kirsten Shortridge (.362) is ninth and Jordan Daniels (.349) is 13th. No other conference foe has as many players in the top 20.
