The Lady Bears open Big 12 Conference Championship on Saturday against Texas A&M.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -
The No. 3 seed Baylor softball team (36-19, 11-7) will begin postseason play on Saturday as it opens its Big 12 Championship hopes with No. 6 seed Texas A&M (31-19, 8-9) at 11:30 a.m. at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium.
The Lady Bears and the Aggies have played two, one-run games so far this season, each being won by A&M. The teams met in the regular season finale this past Sunday in Waco.
Baylor has dropped its last six games at the Big 12 Championship and is 9-20 overall in the tournament's history.
The winner of the contest will advance to the semifinals at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, with the championship game coming Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and televised on FSN.
