The Baylor softball team will host the National Professional Fastpitch (NPF) All Star team on Tuesday beginning at 7 pm with gates opening at 5:30 pm. The exhibition game will mark the end of the fall season for the Lady Bears, who enter with a 7-0 fall mark.
"This will be a great experience not only for our players, but for our fans and community," head coach Glenn Moore said. "This a chance for people to watch some of the best softball players in the world play in our stadium and we hope the stands will be full."
The All Stars enter the game with a 12-1 record during its fall tour which makes 21 stops across 16 states, and compete against 22 different schools in a 40-day span. The roster will include: Ashley Charters (Washington), Charlotte Morgan (Alabama), Jamee Juarez (Ohio State), Kelly Kretschman (Alabama), Jenn Salling (Washington), Niki Williams (Washington), Andrea Duran (UCLA), Francesca Enea (Florida), Kelsey Bruder (Florida), Kristen Butler (Florida), Jen Mineau (Fordham), Hillary Bach (Arizona State), Angeline Quiocho (BYU) and GiOnna DiSalvatore (UCLA).
Fans are invited to a 20-minute autograph session held in the Getterman Indoor Facility following the game. It is encouraged to bring one autograph item per person. Fans will be asked to clear the facility at the end of the 20 minutes.
