2015 (Junior): Finished with a 10-17 record and 9-15 mark in dual-match singles in first season in Waco...Played primarily at top three spots in singles lineup...Was 3-3 in Big 12 Conference singles matches...Claimed wins in six of seven decision in middle part of season, including upset of No. 40 Maddie Lipp, 6-4, 7-6(3) in BU's win over No. 36 Northwestern...Defeated Texas Tech's No. 107 Gabriela Talaba, 7-5, 6-1 for second win over ranked opponent...Went 11-16 in doubles play with four different partners...Had most success with Karina Traxler with 7-6 mark and 6-5 record at No. 2 spot in lineup...Played limited fall collegiate schedule, appearing in only one event with 1-2 mark in singles and doubles with partner Theresa Van Zyl at season-opening Under Armour/H-E-B Kickoff...Had success in two professional events with 6-1 record in the Waco Tennis Showdown Wildcard and the event's main draw wildcard.

2014-15 (Sophomore at Syracuse): Rallied in third set of singles match to defeat Jessie Lynn Paul of Louisville in ACC Tournament 1-6, 6-3, 6-2 (4/22)...Was winning doubles match with Amanda Rodgers against Megan Kurey and Alexa Anton-Ohlmeyer of No. 25 Georgia Tech 7-6 before match was halted (4/19) ...Took down NC State's Liza Fieldsend in singles play 7-5, 5-7, 6-4. Was winning 5-4 alongside Amanda Rodgers in doubles play against Elisha Hande and Nicole Martinez before match was halted (4/17)...Defeated Samantha Asch of Wake Forest in singles play 7-5, 7-5. Carried success into doubles with Amanda Rodgers to beat Andrea Retolaza and Xue Zhang in doubles 8-3 (4/11)...Beat Ariana Rodriguez in win over Louisville 6-1, 6-2 (3/27)...Defeated in tight singles match in third set against Beatrice Gumulya of No.15 Clemson 3-6, 7-5, 10-5 (3/22)...Put up a strong fight to pull close but ultimately fell with partner Breanna Bachini 8-5 to Ester Goldfeld and Rebecca Smaller of No. 21 Duke. Took down Samantha Harris in singles play 7-5, 6-3 (3/8)...Won in a close match with partner Breanna Bachini against Pittsburgh's Molly Wickman and Amber Washington 8-7 (3/1)...Dominated her singles match against Julie Vrabel of Notre Dame 6-3, 6-3 (2/27)...Lost to Virginia tandem Danielle Collins and Stephanie Nauta with partner Amanda Rodgers 8-2. Had a strong showing in singles play against Skylar Morton, taking it to three sets 4-6, 6-2, 3-6 (2/21)...Captured the win at BU with partner Breanna Bachini over Katya Vasilyev and Emily Safron 6-4, defeated by Vasilyev in singles play 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 (2/14)...Defeated Albany's Cheryl Kukkonen and Dajana Ognjejovic 6-1 with teammate Breanna Bachini. Took her second win in singles against Alba Sala 6-3, 6-4 (2/7)...Won her match via retirement over Cornell's Marika Cusick. Took another win with partner Amanda Rodgers over Dena Tanenbaum and Lizzie Stewart 6-2 (1/31)...Lost in doubles play with Amanda Rodgers against Alabama duo Erin Routliffe and Maya Jansen 6-2. Came back in a close singles match against Jansen in the first set 7-6 (8-6) and was trailing 3-2 when her match finished (1/24)...With partner Amanda Rodgers, took down USF's Olaya Garrido-Rivas and Vera Bessonova 6-3. Also took the win in her singles match against Bessonova 7-6 (7-5), 6-1 (1/10)...Beat FGCU's Johanna Sterkel 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 in her first match of the spring (1/8). Defeated by Sarah and Elizabeth Means 6-6 (7-9) with partner Amanda Rogers in a tie-break...Competed in doubles draw with Amanda Rodgers; the duo defeated pairs from Buffalo (8-2) and Sacred Heart (8-2) to advance to the round of 16 before falling to Hanna Yu and Ree Ree Li of Yale (8-2). In singles, Newborn won each of her first three matches in straight sets, before falling to Columbia's Kanika Vaidya (6-3, 7-6(2)). Newborn topped Siena's Rina Sakai (6-2, 6-0), Harvard's Annika Ringblom (6-4, 6-0) and Princeton's Dorothy Tang (7-6(6), 6-1)...At the Houston Classic won a singles match against Malene Stripp of Oklahoma (6-1, 6-3)...Defeated Alanna Wolff of Princeton in singles (6-1, 7-6, (7-4)).

2013-14 (Freshman at Syracuse): In the season opener at South Florida, rallied to defeat Vera Bessonova 1-6, 6-2, (10-5) on the fifth court and paird with Aleah Marrow to knock off Olaya Garrido-Rivas and Fanny Fracassi at second doubles...At fourth singles, outlasted Liza Fieldsend 6-7, (10-12), 6-4, 7-6, (7-0) at NC State...Against Virginia Tech, defeated Kelly Williford 6-0, 4-6, 7-6 (12-10) in third singles and partnered with Komal Safdar to outlast Tea Ivanovic and Sansitha Nandakumar in third doubles, 8-6...Against Virginia, picked up SU's only win by defeating #47 Rachel Pierson 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 in third singles...Partnered with Maria Avgerinos at second doubles to defeat Jennifer Ren and Heini Salonen of Boston College 8-5...Posted a 6-2, 6-3 win over Lolade Ogungbesan of Pittsburgh on the third court...Claimed a 6-3, 6-3 victory against Maryland's Kristina Hovespyan at third singles...Against Notre Dame, defeated Jennifer Kellner 4-6, 6-1, 6-4, in third singles.

Prep/Juniors: Arrived at Syracuse as a five-star recruit and ranked 30th in the country according to Tennis Recruiting Network...Concluded junior career with a No. 1 ranking in the Gulf Coast Region and in Texas...Winner of the Mary Lowden award.

Personal: Parents are Darryl and Lezlie...Major is undecided.
