WACO, Texas -The 14th-ranked Baylor women's tennis team will host a pair of Big 12 opponents in West Virginia and Iowa State this weekend at the Hurd Tennis Center.

The Lady Bears will take on the Mountaineers at 4 p.m. on Friday, before facing the Cyclones at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Baylor enters the weekend with a 10-6 record after losing to No. 7 Texas A&M, 4-1, on Wednesday. BU has three ranked players in singles action: No. 52 Kiah Generette, No. 68 Ema Burgic and No. 122 Jordaan Sanford. Sanford has compiled a five-match winning streak, while freshman Blair Shanklehas won seven straight matches.

In doubles action, Baylor's 34th-ranked tandem of Victoria Kisialevaand Shankle have posted a 10-3 record in the top spot.

West Virginia has compiled a 3-10 record overall and a 0-2 mark in Big 12 play. The Lady Bears won last season's match vs. WVU, 6-1, in the first meeting between the two teams.

Iowa State boasts an 8-7 mark on the season and a 0-2 record in Big 12 play. ISU will play at Texas on Friday, before traveling to Waco to face the Lady Bears on Sunday. BU is 18-0 all-time vs. the Cyclones, winning last year's match 6-1 in Ames, Iowa.
