WACO, Texas - The 16th-ranked Baylor women's tennis team will host a doubleheader on Thursday at the Hurd Tennis Center at 10 a.m. against St. Edward's and at 5 p.m. against No. 38 Memphis.
Most recently, BU (11-6, 3-0) picked up a 7-0 win against Iowa State. The Lady Bears were able to sweep their opponent for the fifth time this year.
On the singles side, Baylor has four ranked players in its lineup: No. 34 Kiah Generette, No. 48 Jordaan Sanford, No. 74 Ema Burgic and No. 103 Shankle. Generette has a 10-6 record at the No. 1 spot this season, defeating three opponents in the top-50. Sanford, Burgic and Shankle have collectively compiled a 31-8 record in dual-match play.
St. Edwards enters the match after a 5-4 victory over Texas-Permian Basin, earning a win in the top four courts in singles action. The match improved St. Edward's to a 7-6 record on the season, giving the Hilltoppers a third consecutive win.
Memphis (11-6) is coming off of a 5-2 win against No. 60 Louisville. Led by Stephanie Mikesz, the team is 21-21 in the top three spots in singles action. In doubles, the Tigers are 23-18 in dual match play.
This is the first meeting between Baylor and both teams.

Following the matches, the Lady Bears will travel to Fort Worth, Texas to face TCU on April 2 at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
