WACO, Texas - Baylor women's tennis coach Joey Scrivano's team finished the 2002-03 season ranked No. 37 and the team's lone senior, Vida Mulec, is ranked No. 103.

Scrivano, in his first season at Baylor, led the team to its first-ever Big 12 championship and the program's seventh NCAA Tournament appearance. Baylor completed Big 12 play with a 9-2 record and they finished the season at 11-13. Seventeen of their 24 matches were against teams ranked in the top 50 and 22 of their 24 matches were against ranked opponents.

Mulec completed her Baylor career with a 91-52 record and was 19-17 this season. She now ranks tied for No. 3 with Karin Andersson on Baylor's career singles win list. Mulec has been ranked since Dec. 12, 2000. She achieved her highest ranking (#41) in December of 2000.
