MIDLAND, Texas - Individual preseason play for the Baylor women's tennis team kicks off on Friday with sophomore Megan Horter competing at The Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational from Sept. 14-16 in Midland, Texas.
"We are taking Megan to Midland to see where she is at," associate head coach Alison Ojeda said. "She is trying to incorporate a couple new things and she has been able to do it in practice, but now it is time to put it into match play. We are hoping this weekend is the same as it has been in practice, because she has been doing a great job"

Horter compiled a 19-21 overall record during her freshman season, going 14-15 in dual-match play and 5-6 in tournament play. In the 2012 ITA preseason doubles rankings, she and partner Alex Leatu were list at No. 54.
