Head coach Joey Scrivano announced the arrival of two transfers to the Baylor tennis program.

WACO, Texas - The Baylor women's tennis team welcomed two newcomers to the squad as Csilla Borsanyi and Kasia Siwosz will compete for the Lady Bears during the 2008-09 season it was announced by head coach Joey Scrivano. Both players will have junior eligibility after playing two seasons at their previous schools.
Borsanyi is transfer from Florida where she earned All-America honors in singles in 2007 when she advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championships as a freshman. A second-team All-Southeastern Conference selection, Borsanyi won a team-best 29 singles matches as a freshman and also claimed 24 doubles victories.
As a sophomore, Borsanyi recorded a 20-12 overall record, including a 16-11 mark in dual match competition. Her two-year overall singles record stands at 49-23.
Siwosz completed a dominant career at Cowley College, winning the NJCAA singles and doubles titles as a freshman. She did not drop a set in singles play and teamed with Karolina Porizkova to lose just one set in doubles as a freshman. She was also named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Star Team.
She lost just one singles match in her two years at Cowley, that coming in the championship match of the NJCAA National Tournament as a sophomore. She also advanced to the semifinals of the doubles at the National Tournament as a sophomore.
The Lady Bears return to action later this month as Baylor will compete at the Riviera All-American in Pacific Palisades, Calif. from Sept. 27-Oct. 5.
