CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Sophomore Taylor Ormond and junior Csilla Borsanyi dropped their opening round matches on Thursday at the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships on the Boyd Tinsley courts at The Boar's Head Sports Club.

Ormond, who reached the ITA Indoor Championships as the runner-up at the ITA Southwest Regional, dropped her Round of 32 match to No. 68 Jennifer Stevens of Virginia 6-3, 6-4. Borsanyi, an at-large selection to the tournament, fell to No. 87 Ragini Acharya of William and Mary by a score of 7-6 (3), 6-4.

"We obviously did not find a way to win today but what is worse is that we did not play well either," said head coach Joey Scrivano. "Thankfully we have another opportunity to right the ship in the consolation event. I'm confident Taylor and Csilla will play better tomorrow."

Play begins on Friday at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. Complete coverage, including live results, can be found at www.ITATennis.com.
