LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Kansas Jayhawks (17-5, 7-2) hit .451 and dominated every facet of the match in a 25-14, 25-13, 25-15 sweep of Baylor (11-14, 3-6) Wednesday night at the Horejsi Center. The victory gives Kansas its first regular-season sweep of the Bears since the 2003 season.
Caroline Jarmoc had 14 kills on a .650 hitting percentage and added six blocks to lead the Jayhawks. Tayler Soucie added 10 kills and four blocks for KU. Erin McNorton paced the Jayhawks with 30 assists, and KU had 47 kills with just six errors in the match.
Baylor, who never led in the match, hit just .088 and was led in a losing effort by Zoe Adom with nine kills.
