WACO, Texas – Oklahoma used 11 service aces and a .312 attacking percentage in a sweep of Baylor Saturday night at McCasland Field House. The Sooners won 25-18, 25-16, 25-18 to move to 20-7 overall and 8-5 in league play while the Bears fell to 12-17 overall and 4-9 in Big 12 competition.
The Sooners’ Sallie McLaurin and Kierra Holst had 11 kills apiece and had just four attacking errors between them. McLaurin added three blocks, and Taylor Migliazzo led OU defensively with 11 digs.
In the losing effort, Laura Jones had 13 kills on a .370 hitting percentage, and Kayci Evans led Baylor defensively with 12 digs.
Baylor suffered eight service errors and 11 receiving errors in the loss with the Sooners’ Holst, Keila Rodriguez and Miggliazzo picking up three service aces apiece.

- Kayci Evans’ 12 digs helped her pass the 250-digs mark for the season carrying 254 into Wednesday’s match at KSU.
