LUBBOCK, Texas - Baylor (20-11, 7-9) used a 19-kill effort from Zoe Adom to defeat Texas Tech (14-17, 3-12) 3-1 (25-23, 23-25, 25-18, 25-21) Wednesday evening in Lubbock. The Bears recorded their sixth 20-win season in program history, third since 1996 and second under head coach Jim Barnes.

"Our seniors really helped lead us today because this was a big win," Barnes said. "We have one more left, but getting to 20 wins is a great plateau for this program."

Baylor outhit Texas Tech .297-.144 on the match.

Adom now has 14 double-digit kill matches this season and swung .500 for the match. Torri Campbell (.444) totaled a season high 16 kills, while Alyssa Dibbern (.303) added 15, their 10th and 19th double-figure kill matches, respectively.

Kate Harris led the squad in both assists (54) and digs (15) for her 17th double-double of the year. Campbell totaled six blocks to lead Baylor's 11-block attack.

Up by as many as seven in set one, the Bears opened the match with a 25-23 win. Baylor used an 8-2 run to open up the set for a 23-16 lead, but a 7-1 run from the Red Raiders pushed it to 24-23 and forced a BU timeout. Erin Sorrells came out of the timeout and served the ball into the net to give Baylor the 1-0 lead. Adom led with five kills, while Campbell and Dibbern each had four as the Bears swun .286 in the opener.

Tech shook off an early Baylor lead and held a 21-16 advantage in the second, but a 6-1 run from the Bears evened the match at 22. Following a Red Raiders timeout, the Bears appeared to have a point on a Dibbern block, but her hand clipped the net on the way down to put TTU ahead 23-22. Munch-Soegaard tied it up with a kill, but Tech took the last two points for the 25-23 win.

The two teams went into the break tied at 1-1 despite Baylor outhitting Texas Tech .276-.177 thru two sets.

With the third set tied at 11, Baylor went on an 8-2 run to open up a 19-13 lead. BU's size began asserting itself dominating plays at the net and getting two blocks during the run. A block from Dibbern and Nora ended the set, as the Bears took the 25-18 win. Adom totaled six kills in the set, while Munch-Soegaard totaled five. BU swung .395 in set three.

The Bears trailed a majority of the fourth set, but tied it at 20 and went on a 5-1 run to close out the set. Campbell led the way with six kills in the fourth.
