Head Coach Jim Barnes announced changes to the 2013 schedule including two televised matches

WACO, Texas - Baylor head volleyball coach Jim Barnes announced changes to his 2013 schedule Wednesday including two Big 12 match-time switches to accommodate ESPNU broadcasts. In addition, Colorado will join the four-team Baylor Classic Sept. 13-14 in Waco.
The Oct. 2 conference match in Waco against the University of Texas will be broadcast on ESPNU pushing the match start to 8 p.m. CT from 7 p.m. ESPNU will also carry Baylor's road contest with Kansas in Lawrence, Kan. Oct. 30 moving back the start time to 6 p.m. CT.
Colorado will join Appalachian State and Northwestern in a trip to Waco for the Baylor Invitational Sept. 13-14. The Buffaloes will take on the Bears Sept. 14 at 6 p.m. to close out the tournament. Baylor's matchup with Northwestern Sept. 13 moved up to a 12:30 p.m. start, and the Bears will take on Appalachian State later in the evening.
The start time for Longhorns' home match with Baylor in Austin Nov. 30 was also determined, and the two teams will square off at 4 p.m. in the Bears' regular season finale.
Baylor finished 20-12 overall in 2012 with a 7-9 mark to finish sixth in the Big 12 last season. The Bears report to campus Aug. 9 for training camp, and the first official day of practice is Aug. 10. Baylor opens the season in Fort Collins, Colo. Aug. 30 at Colorado State.
