WACO, Texas - In the team's win over Temple Friday night in the first round of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament, several school marks were set, including marks to be set in the annals of the NCAA record book.

The most notable stat of the night is the team's 100 total assists. That ties Purdue in 1996 and San Diego in 1993 for the all-time NCAA record for a four-game match. Individually, Dana Chuha's 94 assists is just one shy of the all-time NCAA record set by Renata Menshikova of Central Florida against Oral Roberts on November 14, 1997.

Baylor's 105 kills ties Pacific (Calif.) from last season and the same Purdue team in 1996 for seventh all-time for a four-game match.

Also, the teams 38 kills, 86 attempts and 41 digs in the second game are the highest one-game totals for the season and could possibly be school records.

For team totals, the 105 kills, 235 attempts and 100 assists are the second-highest total on the season, while the 235 attempts and 15.5 blocks are third, and the 96 digs are fifth.
