Gray Named New Assistant Volleyball Coach

WACO, Texas - The Baylor volleyball team has announced that Frank Gray will be the new first assistant coach under Brian Hosfeld.

Gray comes to Baylor from Division II Regis University in Denver, Colo., where he has been an assistant coach for the past four seasons.

Gray has been coaching for approximately 10 years, with one year as a head coach. His head coaching experience came at Lancaster University in England.

He is also a coach and co-founder of the Boulder (Colorado) Volleyball Club, established in 1990. The club features 15 teams and Gray is the head coach of the A-Team gold, which is the highest level team at the club.

Gray received a bachelor's degree in international affairs from the University of Colorado and earned a master's in international affairs at Lancaster. Using his degree, Gray worked at the United Nations in the fall of 1995, but decided to get back into coaching.

Gray also played professional volleyball in Sweden from 1993-1995.
