Bears look to bounce back with two matches Saturday

GREELEY, Colo. - After a rough loss to Colorado State Friday night on the road where Baylor was swept, the Bears will get two chances to rebounds Saturday. Baylor takes on Cal Poly neutrally at 12:30 p.m. CDT, and will play the hosts, Northern Colorado at 8 p.m. CDT.

The Bears never got their offense going last night as the Rams hit .529 on their way to a three-set victory. In the losing effort, freshman Katie Staiger led Baylor with six kills in her college debut.

Northern Colorado (1-0) defeated Cal Poly (0-1) Friday night 25-15, 25-17, 22-25, 25-18. The UNC Bears got 14 kills from Andrea Spaustat while Cal Poly's Megan McConnel had 17 kills in the losing effort for the Mustangs.
