WACO, Texas - Fox Sports Southwest will carry three Baylor volleyball matches at the Ferrell Center this season pushing the Bears' televised total to five for the Big 12 Conference slate. The Bears' Oct. 16 match with TCU, the Oct. 23 match with Kansas State and Nov 13's match with Texas Tech will all be televised by FSSW.
The three matches carried regionally adds to two national broadcasts for Baylor carried by ESPNU. The Bears' home match with Texas Oct. 2 and road match with Kansas Oct. 30 will be carried by ESPNU.
"Our sport is getting much more attention on TV because of the popularity it is gaining as a great female sport to watch with fast, athletic athletes," said Baylor head coach Jim Barnes. "We have several matches on TV and expect it to grow each year."
All FSSW matches with TCU, KSU and TTU are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. The Bears' match with Texas on ESPNU is scheduled for an 8 p.m. tip, and the KU nationally-televised match is set to start at 6 p.m.
