WACO, Texas - Baylor's volleyball team will look to return the favor to Oklahoma Saturday on the Sooners' home court at 7 p.m. after OU defeated the Bears in Waco, Oct. 19 in three sets.
The Bears (12-16, 4-8) and Sooners (19-7, 7-5) are both coming off wins in Big 12 play with BU defeating Texas Tech and OU beating TCU in three sets apiece Wednesday night.
OU stands fourth in the Big 12 standings while Baylor is at sixth, and the Sooners are still fighting for an NCAA playoff berth. Oklahoma beat Baylor in three sets, Oct. 19, with Sallie McLaurin posting a match-high 13 kills in the match. McLaurln leads the Big 12 in hitting percentage (.439) and blocks per set (1.35).
Baylor managed only 24 combined kills in the loss to OU earlier this season, with no player recording higher than five kills. The Bears will look to carry momentum from Wednesday's win over TTU where Zoe Adom and Adrien Richburg had 11 kills apiece.
Oklahoma leads the all-time series 34-15, and the Sooners have won 19 of the last 23 matches over BU. The Bears last won in Norman, Nov. 12, 2011.
