Baylor finished its regular season at Kansas on Saturday night, falling to 18-14 overall and 5-11 in the Big 12. The Bears defeated four NCAA RPI top-50 teams this season including then No. 23 Oklahoma on the road and Kansas, Missouri and Kansas State all at home.
Baylor last received a bid to the NCAA Division I Volleyball Championship in 2009, earning two victories and a berth in the Sweet 16 for the first time ever. The Bears defeated Georgia Tech in the first round and then stunned ninth-ranked and eighth-seeded UCLA on its home floor for the highest-ranked win in program history.
Baylor's previous two bids to the NCAA tournament came in 1999 and 2001.
