ONE OF ONE
"And the truth of the matter is that it was just the start," said the 45-year-old Doug McNamee, who was officially introduced on Monday, Dec. 8 as Baylor's Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, a role that he calls an "absolute one-of-one job opportunity."
FROM WALK-ON TO HALL OF FAME
Like a traveling door-to-door salesman, Derek Turner took his football highlight reel from tiny Deer Creek High School in Edmond, Okla., hit the road and went to school after school, just "trying to figure out who would take me."
TURN OUT THE LIGHTS
Cyril Richardson played an integral role in one of the most memorable nights in the history of the Baylor football program, one of eight people who got to turn out a bank of lights following the Bears' 30-10 win over Texas that clinched a Big 12 championship and "Closed the Case" on Dec. 7, 2013.
A TRUE PASSION
While Dusty Sanderson has worked in oil and gas, he loves serving the “B” Association.

SO CLOSE
Chris Durbin remains the all-time career leader in doubles (79) and extra-base hits (130), second in runs (236) and total bases (529) and top 10 in home runs (41), RBIs (169) and slugging percentage (.594).
WORTH THE WAIT
Bryce Petty led the Bears to back-to-back Big 12 championships.
